Climb Saint Peter’s chapel
Data Pubblicazione luglio 30, 2014
Rome top view is totally breath taking: your eyes will look right into Conciliazione’s street where you can admire the historical beauty of this eternal city. It is a little expensive to climb up the chapel either physically and economically.
It requires a huge physical strength to climb up the stairs and it will cost 5 €, 7 € with the elevator, but unfortunately the last 320 steps have to be done by walking for about 20 minutes in a uncomfortable, tight spiral ascent. Along the way you may rest on the penthouse and admire the sixteen windows that Giacomo Della Porta opened above Michelangelo’s tambour. After climbing the last part of the spiral you will find yourself in front of a breathtaking view, a view that you will see only once in your lifetime.
